As Head of Trading, Damien trades on multiple exchanges and financial markets for the Fund. Having been in the business for over a decade, Damien is a well-respected trader of futures, options, commodities, forex and gold products —  on both listed venues and over the counter — on behalf of various Asian family offices. His competency in servicing ultra-high-net-worth individuals plays well to the strengths of the Fund and helps meet with its desired outcomes.

As Head of Operations, Roger Lee is responsible for the fund’s legal, compliance and regulatory obligations, including holding and maintaining the fund’s management license with the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Under Roger’s guidance, SDL Capital is a well-structured Fund and company to the mantra of “consistency of returns is key”. Roger is motivated about the entire investor journey, aspiring to present an experience that meets with the needs of each and every client. In addition, he is an advisor and mentor to several businesses, helping them to build their own unique competitive advantages.

Looking after strategy and operations, Marcus Tan has over a decade of management experience running proven businesses, whether at start-ups or at multinational companies. Specifically, Marcus’s role at the Fund is to identify companies that can deliver high returns for investors, yet achieve these in a stable and sustainable manner. Key to being able to deliver these is the Fund’s trusted, close-knit network, and the team’s ability to spot disruptive trends ahead of the curve. Marcus ensures the Fund has both discipline and structure, enabling it to meet with today’s strict market standards.

A serial entrepreneur for over a decade, Seth Lim is a next-generation special opportunity investor who is focused on deep tech innovation, blockchain and alternative investments. Seth’s role entails bringing together like-minded high-net-worth individuals across the APAC region – forming a unique, private access investor community that brings to bear investment returns from the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He was more recently an executive education lecturer at Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and is a regular speaker at various technology and millennial investor conferences.
